European manufacturing meets Colorado design in our new Radian line. The result is a series of directional freeride skis that are intuitive and versatile. New construction, featuring a poplar/ash core, carbon fiber, and Variable Metal Technology (VMT) creates a high level of precision and stability at speed that confident skiers expect from a frontside ski, while the freeride shape and tapered metal at the tip and tail allow for varied turn shapes and effortless transitions in a wide range of snow conditions.

VMT or Variable Metal Technology is our next generation of metal core reinforcement. A layer of Titanal is added in a horizontal layup, starting as a full width layer under foot but tapered proportionally along the poplar, ash, and carbon fiber core. This allows skis equipped with our new VMT to flex in the tip and tail to absorb terrain and initiate turns easily, yet feel rock solid in the middle of the turn.
Incorporates tip and tail rocker with positive camber underfoot for maximum floatation and playful feel, while maintaining hard-snow performance.
Effective Turning Edge: 76%
Tip Rocker: 16%
Tail Rocker: 8%
The “Recommended” mount mark will align you in the center of sidecut and camber of the ski. This allows for the best turn initiation and control in most situations. All mount position measurements are taken from the tail along the surface of the ski.

Liberty Skis Radian 92
This New All-Mountain Ski Is the Most User-Friendly Ski I Tested This Season
Its light weight (courtesy of the tapered Titanal) and approachability might make the high-end racer set yearn for that full-metal, stuck-to-the-snow feeling and a tail that lets you know when the turn is good and done. But if they’re out for a Sunday cruise on anything but boilerplate, they’d have to do their complaining behind a buff that hides their smiles. As a skier who appreciates both thoroughbreds that take you for a ride and friendly skis that let you hold the reins, I think the Radian 92 strikes a balance nearly every skier can appreciate.
