Loving this ski!
Even with the wide waist, I find that I can charge groomers confidently! It eats up powder and floats perfectly, and is super fun and playful when you want it to be. Towards the end of the season I’ve brought it out in a ton of slush, and it’s incredibly fun to butter around on!
Super awesome! Would recommend for anyone who’s looking for a wide all-mountain ripper that can hit frontside as well as it can hit 20ft cliff drops!
I have been skiing on the 106mm waist Origin for a couple years, and loved those! Year or two later I got a pair of these 112s and I absolutely love them. They are great in the powder, wether is a deep day or just a few inches. I also found myself skiing them on firmer days as well. They are super playful and jibby, great to mess around on side hits inbounds or got hit some backcountry booters. Highly recommend these skis, along with any of the other Origin series skis.
This ski is a must-have in your quiver. Or maybe the only ski you need in your quiver. At 112 underfoot, this ski is the perfect width to keep you afloat on the deepest of pow days while also still being nimble enough to charge the entire mountain when theres no soft stuff left. Wether you are sled-skiing, touring, or always on the resort, this ski can do it all.
Once again the addition of VMT tech has made this ski a winner. It can handle the deepest snow on earth while carving up the iciest groomers in the west. Its shape and large "sweet spot" allows it to be forgiving while it's stiffness and torsional rigidity helps it plow through challenging snow conditions.
