"The Genesis 106 significantly stepped up its game in this year’s model. Liberty’s lightweight XCore carbon construction—a combo of three types of wood and a carbon stringer—makes the Genesis 106 lightweight yet damp and responsive." -Ski Magazine

|CORE PROFILE||VMT 1.0W®|
|ROCKER PROFILE||Bomb Rocker|
"This year Liberty gave the Genesis106 a slightly lower tip rocker line, but it's still one of the best options in this width when it comes to floatation in deep snow. And the upside to the revised rocker profile is that it now holds an edge and carves a bit better than the old version."
The Liberty Genesis 106 lived up to its description as a versatile all-mountain ski that also does very well in powder. It felt lively and playful while skiing everything from powder, to soft bumps, crud, and even hardpack. So if you’re looking for a wider one-ski quiver that will excel in soft and / or deep snow, or if you’re looking for an all-mountain / powder ski that will work well as the wider ski in a 2-ski quiver, the Genesis 106 is definitely worth a look.
