Warranty Infomation

Liberty Skis warrants to the original, retail purchaser our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of three (3) years from the effective date of manufacture.

The effective date of manufacture is September 1 of the model year in which the product was produced. Pre-season skis sold in the Southern Hemisphere will have an effective date of manufacture of March 1 of the previous year. Product purchased from a non-authorized Liberty Dealer or from any other source, will not be covered under this warranty. Warranty is non transferrable. Note that the Liberty Antigen and Transfer models are warranted for one year only. Proof of purchase (e.g. receipt of purchase from authorized Liberty dealer) must accompany claim. Liberty Skis’s obligation under this limited warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of any product or parts thereof, which shall be deemed to be defective, in Liberty’s sole and final judgment. Under no circumstances shall Liberty Skis be held liable for death or injuries to persons, damage to property, or for incidental, contingent or consequential damages or expenses arising from the use of Liberty Skis products.

This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, abuse, negligence, impact, repairs or alterations outside of our facility, improper mounting of bindings, or any manner inconsistent with the intended use of the product, and is subject to specific terms and limitations as specified in this document.  For non U.S. customers, our warranty is one year.

Specifically, our warranty does not cover:

a) impact damage caused by rails, boxes, rocks, stumps, any other man made objects, or any other contact with a surface other than snow,

b) scratches, chips, cosmetic blemishes, or indentations on the topsheet, sidewalls, edges or bases, and/or

c) damage to the product caused by adjustment or removal of bindings, including binding mountings pulled out of the product.

Liberty Skis dealers are not authorized to make warranty evaluations and Liberty Skis is not bound by any statements made by such dealers.  Products returned for warranty service shall be inspected by Liberty Skis. If the problem is judged by Liberty Skis to be due to a factory defect, we will repair, or replace (with an identical or reasonably equivalent product) the product at our expense, or we may elect to refund the purchase price. The purchaser is responsible for binding removal, remounting, and shipping charges to Liberty Skis. If Liberty determines that there is no defect resulting from causes within the scope of this warranty, storage and/or return of the product will be at the customer’s expense. Replacement products are warranted only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
